Welcome David Boyer to the ZGF’s Team

David is a Certified Personal Trainer specializing in Physique, Bodybuilding and Sports Nutrition. David has a B.S. in Sport and Exercise Science from UCF. Born and raised in Ocoee,

David helps clients with technique, muscle development and nutrition programs. You can schedule a private 30-minute Nutrition Session with David through the ZGF App or by calling 407-654-2600. David will work with you to design a plan that meets your individual health and nutrition goals.

An Ode to Zero Gravity Fitness 

If “All the world’s a stage,” then Zero Gravity Fitness is my rehearsal hall. Stepping into ZGF’s physical portal each week, I am greeted with a smile and hug from Toni Silva, my extraordinary Pilates trainer for the past eight years. As I move towards my favorite room in the back, I receive the warmest welcome from ZGF’s Owner and Trainer Leo, as well as from the other outstanding trainers and their clients. Light, laughter and camaraderie fill the three connecting work-out rooms.

At the time of my first ZGF Pilates trainings, I was playing tennis, my favorite sport, just for fun, still spinning the ball to make my opponents dizzy. Unfortunately, in time, I ended up on the “injured list,” from unexpected falls: moving backwards on the court, mounting a new bike, climbing up into a jeep. Each time Toni helped me regain my strength, fitness and balance smallest step-by-step. And when my husband, Howard, also Toni’s client before he became ill, passed recently, Toni helped me to heal not only my body but also my mind and spirit. Training at ZGF is a total package.

The Role of Nutrition in Personal Wellness

Nutrition plays a critical role in overall health and personal wellness. Nutrition goes well beyond a weight management tool. It helps you make good choices, feel better, look better, socialize with confidence, and live a healthier life.

A complete nutrition plan closely analyzes proper amounts of essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals required for the body to function optimally. Following a proper nutrition plan can have improve Physical Health, Energy Levels, Weight Management, Mental Health, Disease Prevention, Digestive Health, Bone and Muscle Health and Quality of Life.

A Healthy Recipe

 – Hummus with Sliced Vegetables 1 can chickpeas, drained & rinsed Toss all ingredients into food

1 prepared pkg of Beluga Lentils processor or blender and blend 1/2 cup diced onion until smooth. If the mixture is too stiff, add water (or tamari for extra zing) until you reach desired consistency. Taste and adjust the salt, pepper, and other spices according to your personal preferences. This recipe is full of fiber and protein.

2-3 tablespoons lemon juice 2-3 tablespoons lime juice 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1/2 cup chopped cilantro Dash of salt and pepper Pinch of curry, cumin & paprika Wash and slice vegetables
