Prenatal Pilates

Prenatal PilatesMany women find Pilates to be one of the best exercises to do, both during and after their pregnancy. One of the top reasons Pilates and pregnancy go together so well is that Pilates is so adaptable. Your program can be adapted to fit the special needs of the expecting mom. Treat yourself to a healthy, positive pregnancy and let us keep you looking and feeling your best.

As your pregnancy progresses your center of gravity is pulled forward and you become vulnerable to aches and pains. Pilates will help you adjust to this new alignment more comfortably. In addition, when your pelvic floor muscles are toned, they will support a more comfortable pregnancy and delivery.

Pilates is also famous for helping new moms get their figures back after the baby is born! Keeping active throughout pregnancy will make it easier to bounce back in the months following childbirth.

Our prenatal pilates classes are each thirty minutes in length and require written consent from your OBGYN.
