Zero Gravity Fitness is the perfect place to improve your body, mind, and spirit. The staff is very professional and focused on how to personally help you achieve your fitness goals. Zero Gravity has been a blessing through my pregnancy! The amount of care that they give to my every need and the amazing way Pilates is able to help with keeping my hips limber and open and ready for the big day is really great! I have been a client of Zero Gravity for more than 5 years. I started training with Leo to build strength and improve my overall fitness. I went faithfully 3-4 times a week and saw results that were beyond anything I could have imagined. As I grew stronger, I wanted to explore different types of training methods which included using Super Flex, Kettle Bells, Pilates, and resistance training. All of these, plus many more are available at Zero Gravity. Zero Gravity hires only the best and most professional instructors. They offer private sessions, buddy sessions and classes for every fitness level. About 6 months ago, I began to notice some pain in my left hip. Doctors told me I needed a total hip replacement. I am 50 years old and had the surgery 6 weeks ago. I was told by the doctor at my 6 week check up that I didn’t need to return for a year. I have to say without the help of Sara, Neta, and Leo my rapid recovery would not have been possible. Neta, my personal pilates instructor rehabbed me back into shape in a safe, progressive, and thoughtful manner. On another note, Leo has trained my daughter (12), who is a competitive tennis player. He has improved her movement, flexibility and speed. As a family, dedicated to fitness and living a healthy lifestyle I highly recommend working out at Zero Gravity. After having three kids in 26 months, I was sick of being the fat girl. I had gained a tremendous amount of weight with my kids and really let myself go. I was not happy with myself and knew I had to make a change. Because of fertility treatments and the high risk pregnancy with twins, I had not been able to work out for over a year, so it was very hard at first. I started run/walking short distances about seven weeks after my c-section. I continued this for a few months with some weight training on my own and although I was losing some weight, it just was not enough. I needed toning in areas that had been neglected for years. My stomach, back and arms were just not getting smaller. I signed up for a half-marathon and decided to hire a personal trainer for the first time in my life.
A close friend of mine who used to be a personal trainer recommended Zero Gravity Fitness. I immediately loved the gym which offers a wide variety of fitness packages (body shock, reformer Pilates, super flex, yoga, kettle bell, etc…) for total body and mind wellness. It has a very friendly, clean, enthusiastic, personal atmosphere and is not filled with slimy personal trainers. I purchased a Body Shock package of 20 half-hour sessions with Leo Acioli. In about 3 months I lost close to 20 lbs and people were not recognizing me! I have always worked out in my life (except for these 2 and a half childbearing years), but was never able to target the areas body shock was blasting. My arms were toning up, waist was slimming down, upper back was getting smaller and my “mommy” posture was improving! People were not recognizing me and I felt wonderful! Leo has helped me with nutritional knowledge, tips and gave me a good cardio/interval plan to follow on my own. I completed my first half marathon in 1:50 and was so excited that I broke 2 hours! I signed myself up for my first full marathon and bought another body shock package. I was hooked and determined to get into the best shape of my life! I continued to work with Leo who looked to balance my personal training; incorporating Pilates into my body shock routine, stretching, strength training, interval work, resistance training, you name it. I was doing things that I had not done in years; pull-ups, jumping on benches, frog jumps, kettle bell swings it was great! I ran my first marathon in a Boston qualifying time of 3:29! Zero Gravity was instrumental in achieving this overwhelming feat and has been a life-changing gym experience. This was something I never even dreamed I could accomplish!
