Group Fitness

While some people prefer to work out alone, or with only a personal trainer by their side, others enjoy working out with men and women who share similar fitness goals. Group fitness classes allow you to get in shape during sessions filled with people who want to do the same.

Group workouts are fun, promote camaraderie and allow members to push each other toward their fitness goals. Group members also can offer a sympathetic ear or an encouraging word when they are needed. Sometimes people need help from others – to push and aid them as they strive to reach their goals.

At Zero Gravity Fitness in Ocoee, Fla., we offer the most effective group fitness classes. Each is held in an intimate atmosphere and led by highly qualified instructors who are specifically trained in the classes they are leading.

Zero Gravity Fitness is the place to go if you want to get in shape in a fun, group setting. We offer several different group fitness classes to help everyone find something that they enjoy. Experience group fitness the way it was meant to be. Contact Zero Gravity today to reserve a spot in the class of your choice, because spaces are limited.

Here are some things to keep in mind:

  • Introductory courses are required before you can participate in a Kettlebell class
  • Each class runs for one hour
  • Schedules are subject to change

Kettlebell

This is an ancient physical training and conditioning method developed in Russia, which uses a bell-shaped weight. This training technique is designed to build strength and endurance. The kettlebell looks a little like a cannon ball, but with its own handle. The kettlebell is intended to increase not only strength and endurance, but agility and balance as well. Working out with the kettlebell challenges both the muscular and cardiovascular systems with dynamic, total body movement. Call Zero Gravity for your free consultation.

Kettlebell also has celebrity fans, including Jennifer Lopez, Gerard Butler, Matthew McConaughey and Sylvester Stallone.

Superflex

This is a full-body workout that utilizes wall-mounted resistant bands, and incorporates cardio-interval training. A wide range of athletes from different sports rely on this workout to keep them on top of their games.

Here is just one testimonial from among the many happy clients who have taken part in group training at Zero Gravity:

From Brandi: ”Kettlebell is a great class! It is fun and intense, yet easily altered to each individual’s level. Sara is an awesome instructor! Every class is unique and challenging. I am amazed at how many calories I burn in the hour of class. It is a very effective workout!”

Working out, training and getting in shape don’t have to be lonely, solitary experiences. If you grew up playing team sports and miss the close relationships you had with teammates, group training may be the best way for you to get in better physical condition – while also making new friends as you take a team approach to fitness.

Yoga

Yoga

More and more experts in the medical community are recommending yoga—along with meditation and other mindfulness techniques—as part of an effective strategy for bringing a worried mind under control. Yoga defined is “yoke” or “union”, meaning the union of opposites (mind, body and breath) through physical practice.

ZGF’s yoga classes are fitness-oriented and involve linking several poses together to create strength, flexibility, endurance, and balance and complement the activities of our daily lives. Our yoga classes effectively work all parts of the body equally creating an experience of non-judgement and non-competition for students at all levels. During class students are reminded to check-in with their bodies and modify poses to provide less or more sensation, as appropriate. Yoga is a journey, not a destination. When embarking on a yoga journey students may experience physical and emotional reactions to a pose. These experiences are part of the journey and build physical and mental strength as well as physical and mental flexibility. Students are encouraged to stay present by breathing, feeling and listening to their bodies.
